Dawnette began in retail merchandising with Target Corporation in 1995. During her twelve years at Target she played key roles as a Buyer, MP, merchandising, product management and sourcing.
Joining Mosquito in 2007 as VP Business Development and Product Development, Dawnette built a strategy to deliver new business growth in retail markets, resulting in increased company revenue of 35%. Key accounts included Caribou, Toys R US, Wal-Mart, Kohl's, Best Buy and Target
In 2012, Dawnette accepted the position of Midwest Director for HaynesBesco Group. Dawnette spearheaded an expansion to the Midwest market for HBG's product lineup which includes gift bags, gift bags, gift wrap, tissue, bows/ribbon, boxes.
